NOVA began in 2026 at the desk of a filmmaker and entertainment entrepreneur in Riyadh. He ran productions, companies and a very full inbox, and every evening ended the same way: hours of moving files, writing decks and chasing replies that a capable colleague could have done, if only the computer were one.
So he built her. First as a voice on the Mac that could open things and answer. Then as someone who could make the deck, keep the files, take the meeting notes and, when the Mac started swapping memory at midnight, notice and fix it. Then as someone who could run a company: assign the work, log the decisions, hold the weekly review.
She had to speak Arabic properly, with her own voice, because half of her first users do. She had to keep what she hears and remembers on the Mac, because that is where private things belong. And she had to ask before anything that costs money or can't be undone, because a colleague you can't trust is worse than none.
Today NOVA is a company with one product and one promise: say it once, and she does the rest. The Mac is first. Windows and a phone app are next. The name is a registered trademark in Saudi Arabia, and the ring-and-spark is hers.
